Unlike yer fancy big city papers, the local market for the Maui News is small enough that they print more or less every letter to the editor that comes over the transom. There are a number of regular correspondents, of which I’m one. Unfortunately, I want to respond to more of the other missives than I suspect the editors really care to hear from me about: Hawaiian Sovereignty, GMO crop testing, highway tunnels, wingnut mainland political opinion, … from my point of view, it’s like shooting fish in a barrel. Hand me mah gun, momma.

I suspect I’ll also throw in my two cents on other subjects, but we’ll see.
